Women activist storm into the parliament demanding 33% reservation organised by NFIW and ANHAD

Women activist storm into the parliament demanding 33% reservation organised by NFIW and ANHAD over 30 women activist wearing specially designed aprons with image of parliament 33% women reservation written on the one side and on the other side slogan “Pass the Reservation Bill Now”. They storm the parliament house to protest against the UPA governments lack of political bill to pass the Women Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha. The protesting women surrounding by the police about 15 minutes of the protest arrested and taking to Parliament Street Police Station. Those who have been arrested include Annie Raja (General Secretary, NFIW), Nisha Sidhu, Shyamkali, Aruna Sinha, Deepti Bharati, Rekhana Begum from NFIW and Shabnam Hashmi , Seema Duhan, Priynanka Jaiswal, Sonam Gupta, Lakshmi, Manish Trivedi from ANHAD.


The arrested women are in Parliament Street Police Station Presently.
